Myanmar Muslims’ massacre protested

RAWALPINDI - Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), NA-56 chapter, registered its strong protest outside Rawalpindi Islamabad Press Club (RIPC) on Monday against innocent killings of Muslims in Myanmar.

The protest demo was led by JI leaders Raza Ahmed Shah, Syed Uzair Hamid and Shabab-e-Mili former District President Haji Muhammad Tahir Khan jointly. Holding placards and banners with words against Myanmar government, the enraged protestors chanted slogans against United Nations (UN) for its criminal mum over ongoing bloodshed against Muslim in Burma. Addressing the protestors, the speakers vehemently denounced the brutality of Burman government against Muslim women, men and children. They said that so far a total of 30,000 innocent Muslim were martyred whereas 300 mosques were locked by the Buddhists. At least 90,000 Muslims, who managed to flee Burma, were stranded along with borders of Bangladesh and Malaysia, but, unfortunately Muslim rulers, OIC and UN kept criminal mum over the plights of the Muslim.

They urged the Muslim rulers to lift their voice against Burman government butchery and also summon the meeting of OIC. They said that UN has become the puppet of Jews, who always supported violence against Muslim community. The protestors demanded of Pakistan government to end her diplomatic relations with Burma and register strong protest against ongoing killings of Muslim in Burma.
Meanwhile, Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Jawed Akhtar Bhatti strongly condemned the killing of innocent Muslims in Burma and said that silence of Pakistani government and media over the said brutal violence was beyond comprehension.


He termed that Burma government and army was totally involved in the massacre of innocent Muslims. He demanded of the government to devise a clear policy over the issue and force the UN and Human Rights Commission to play their role in this regard.


Bhatti said that silence of super power on Burma issue could become an eye opener for all the Muslim Umma and the international powers can also be involved in said killing. President RCCI also said that it was best example of state terrorism and UN and Muslim countries must play their role to stop the killing of innocent Muslims in Burma.


APP adds: Islamabad Bar Association (IBA) marched on Monday towards Myanmar embassy to register their protest against muslims massacre. The procession was led by President Islamabad District Court Bar Association (IDCBA) Syed Javed Akbar Shah Mashhadi accompanied with approximately 100 lawyers. The President said that it was a peaceful march towards Myanmar embassy and it was just to hand over the copy of resolution that IBA passed unanimously on Saturday, July 28 regarding the brutalities of Myanmar against Muslim community.


Speaking on the occasion, he stated that it was need of the hour to raise voice against the inhuman act of Myanamr and to stop its atrocities on Muslim population on immediate basis.
He also appealed to the United Nations, International Bar Association and International Civil Society to protect Myanmar Muslims fundamental human rights on priority. Moreover, they have to take a stern action against the murderers of innocent Muslims in Myanmar, recommended him.
He reiterated Muslim world to be unite at one platform and build up diplomatic pressure on Myanmar for stopping this heinous crime. In the end, the demonstrators disbursed and backed to Islamabad District Court (IDC) peacefully.
