Islamic dawah to convert non-Muslims

The Islamic Center of Argentina (CIPAL) will start airing a program on the country’s state television to introduce Islam to non-Muslim communities.

“This is a historical time for us because it is the first time that an Islamic entity in Argentina has its own program on state television,” CIPAL Press Manager Erica Sanchez Vitale told Press TV.

“This speaks of equal terms and opportunities for all religions in Argentina.”

The Quill and the Message will go on air every Sunday as of May 8, 2011, presenting reports, interviews, news and short courses and programs about the Holy Qur’an.

“The idea is that Muslims can speak out for themselves and show people how they live, who they believe in and what activities they are involved in,” Sanchez Vitale said.

CIPAL board member Alexis El Sayer also believes partnership between the state TV and religious minorities is of great importance.

“The most important thing is that we will be able to reach people all around the country,” he said.

“This would have not been possible without the new legal context which allows us to be part of this project.”

The country’s Media Supervision Authority had to change last year when the government approved a new law to promote interfaith dialogue and give more freedom to the minorities.

“Many people in this country supported our project,” said head of Argentina’s Media Supervision Authority Grabriel Mariotto.

“This law promotes diversity and opens the spectrum to all civil organizations following the declaration of freedom of speech of the UN.”

According to the latest official data, there are more than 780,000 Muslims in Argentina, who account for about 2 percent of the population.

The new law will be a unique opportunity for Argentineans to learn more about Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and his message of peace.

Or his message of marrying six year olds, raping women after killing their fathers, brothers and husbands, practicing polygamy, and leading jihad.

As for the U.N. declaration, Andrew Bostom notes:

The Anti- Human Rights, Sharia Supremacist Cairo Declaration … abrogates the US Bill of Rights, and Universal Declaration of Human Rights placing them and all “man made” human rights constructs under the Sharia…
